KC's Dancers are busy working hard preparing for our next lot of BTDA exams in April, dates have been finalised for our annual summer Hullabaloo which will be taking place on the 16th June 2018 at St Peter's Church and our annual big show will be on the 15th July 2018 at the Theatre Royal, Margate. ***EXCITING***

14th February 2018

Fantastic start to 2018! KC's Dancers have a brand new timetable and new for 2018 we are bringing to you Lyrical, Vocal Training and incorporating Street into our Acro.

 

KC's Dancers have been busy already hosting this year's first free workshop, 'Superheroes & Fairy Tales', 30 children attended and they were all soooo talented, they sang & danced beautifully. Keep an eye out for our next free workshop coming in 2018!

KC's Dancers are busy preparing for our next lot of BTDA exams taking place in April and for our annual summer show - Live*Love*Perform*Act 3 'What Dreams Are Made Of'.

As always KC's Dancers have lot's of events planned for the year ahead, all details to follow.

2017 was a very busy year for KC's Dancers, so busy we didn't have time to update our website! Check out our updated photo gallery to see all the fun!

2017 

A very big welcome to Carly Pullen who has joined KC's Dancers as an Instructors Assistant***

​

In April KC's Dancers performed a flash mob and provided an Easter egg hunt for the new residents of Aylesham and undertook BTDA exams. In May we performed in Nonnington at a cancer charity event, we also hosted a sponsored bounce to raise funds for KC's Dancers. In June we held our annual Summer Hullabaloo and took part in the Aylesham 90th Birthday celebrations. July saw another performance for Aylesham's 90th Birthday as well as being the month for our annual big show Live*Love*Perform*Act 2 "we're all in this together". In August we performed at Walmer Care Centre, B&Q charity event, St Margaret's Bay Holiday Park and Westenhanger Castle. September we hosted a Danceathon to raise funds for Baby Grace, performed at Nonnington's annual fireworks and took part in Aylesham Carnival where we won 1st and 2nd places! In October we performed at Canterbury Festival, held our own free workshop and undertook our second lot of BTDA exams for the year.  November saw the start of our Christmas performances at Westenhanger Castle. In December KC's Dancers performed their annual panto, A Jungle Tale 'Mowgli meets Moana', we returned to Dover Cruise Terminal to perform our Christmas showcase and sang at Aylesham Carol Service. Another fantastic year for everyone***

So what's next for KC'S DANCERS? We have our next BTDA exam session coming up on the 30th April and we have another performance at Dreamland for Easter.

We will be taking part in the Aylesham 90th anniversary celebrations in June/July

KC'S DANCERS presents LIVE**LOVE**PERFORM** Act 2 in the Queens Hall at the winter gardens Margate on the 15th July, we have some fantastic performances from Matilda to school of rock and a special guest performance a great family fun night out filled with Thrills **

KC'S DANCERS will also be performing there spooky Dolls routine at Alton Towers this Halloween ekkk**

KC'S DANCERS are busy with Exam prep and show rehearsals at the moment. Our big show "Live, Love, Perform - Act 2" will be at The Winter Gardens, Margate on the 15th July 2017

Great to see everyone back and some new faces for 2017. We have lots of events lined up for this year including our big show Live, Love, Perform Act 2 in  July. We are busy with exam prep & show work at the moment with our next set of BTDA Exams coming up in April.

Well we only have 2 performances left for this year Aylesham primary school performance tomorrow then

the frosted fairground in Dreamland on the 23rd Dec.

Winter wonderland & Dover port cruise terminal were a massive success also the kids disco in the welfare leisure centre was great fun and we even got some ice skating in!

As always I am one very Proud Teacher

KC'S Dancers are bringing a bit of Winter Wonderland magic to Aylesham on Saturday 17th December at St Finbarrs Church. Tickets for this will NOT be available on the door so book yours today!

KC'S DANCERS & Musical Theatre brought the house down last night playing to a full house at The Ratling club in Aylesham. Their production of ALICE "in my own world" was a fantastic success

KC'S DANCERS BTDA Exam results were also a phonomenal success achieving more than 15 Honours stars and pass with Distinctions

Attempting a world record of Tap Dancers all for a fantastic cause children in need, so come on and down and support us we have all been working hard for this to happen and hopefully KC'S DANCERS will smash it and raise lots of money for a great charity

KC's Dancers raised the roof at the Theatre Royal, Margate on Sunday in our show Live Love Perform - Act 1.

I would like to say how incredibly PROUD of KC'S DANCERS family I am.

All the students behaviour and performances were impeccable. All the chaperones worked hard to make our first show a massive success!

KC’s Dancers are a small, friendly dance school based in St Peters church, Aylesham. The school was founded nearly 5 years ago and take part in events such as opening the Canterbury Arts Festival, performing at Dreamland Margate, and opening local fetes. The school offers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro/Street, Vocal Training and Musical Theatre classes from age 18mths upwards. KC’s Dancers has brought a sense of pride and accomplishment to the village of Aylesham and I for one am very proud.
